Order of payments made

I know it's randomly paid according to DWP, but I've gotten every other cost of living payment on the first day of the stated payment window.
This time, however, I have not received it on the first day (today) - can anyone help me out please and tell me if they have received the cost of living payment in the same order (ie 1st day or 2nd etc) every time?
Would really stop me worrying so much!

I didn't work it out why it was random till now though. Sorry was a me thing not a you thing. It would be better if they could just give it to everyone on day one

It's not possible to pay over 8 million people in a day, the system they use can only handle around 1-2 million transactions daily. If they tried it would result in crashes and people waiting even longer for payment. It's clearly stated that there is a 2 week payment window, yet every time people go crazy and expect it straight away(claiming they are desperate). Doubt anyone would care if it was £299 Shopping Vouchers or Energy Topups which serve the same purpose. No more CoLPs so if you desperate in the future, it's tough luck I guess.

And actually most of us I'm sure would have been equally as grateful for shopping vouchers or energy top ups

Still no payment received. Just thought I’d keep updating myself incase anyone else is in my boat then you’re not alone. I’m not desperate for it and understand it’s random but I think letting people know I haven’t received yet then someone else who hasn’t received it won’t feel alone in the matter.

I’m glad to hear this! There has been times where I’ve been doubting receiving it this time round but I have all of the qualifying points so I’m not going to over think it until it gets to the 22nd. I’ll keep you all updated daily and hopefully we won’t be waiting too much longer. X
