PIP review due to change of circumstances

Hey.

Just after other people's experience. My mum was already awarded PIP but put in an application for change of circumstances as her condition has worsened.

She received the standard text saying a decision has been made and she'll receive a letter with the decision within 2 weeks. Today she got her usual payment amount so she's taking that to mean they've not accepted her for the higher rate. Does this seem like the case? Would they process the payment differently as they need to backdate etc. I'm really hoping she still has a chance still.

Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone had a similar experience.

Thanks.

I'm not sure you can draw a conclusion either way. I'd call them and ask what the decision was.

Thanks for the reply.

It could easily go either way, was just hoping someone in the same situation might see and let me know how it went for them.
She's nervous but won't call as she's had so much to chase up with her health and various appointments, she's rightly fed up with it all. So I was just looking for a bit of hope for her through some positive stories from people in similar situations regarding the change of circumstances and the normal payment after the text.

@emma2442 it can take up to 24 hours to update their system and with the text saying up to 2 weeks it could be that they haven't made a decision yet. I'm still waiting to hear and it's been 7 weeks for me.
