Oodie Knock-Offs or Just Layering?

Noticed loads of shops now stocking Oodie-types, romper suits etc., and I'm tempted to do away with my pride, and get one. In Primark, saw the Disney ones (Lion King) was £24 which is actually thicker than the rest of them and in Sainsbury's a romper fleecy suit for £20 (I think) which is fairly thick at about 2".

I WFH and last few years have been a struggle to keep warm in an unheated house. (I loathe to put the heating on just for me for too many hours.) I have cashmere jumpers, fingerless gloves, hats and scarves, thermals, bought a £35 electric foot muff that is barely warm enough.

Is it worth get an Oodie/romper suit? I'd look particularly stupid in Teams meetings so I plan to hide the garment with a big scarf.

Not an oodie/knock off but the Primark leggings with fleece inside (not the tights they aren’t as good), are fantastic for keeping your legs warm if you don’t want to wear a full onesie.
I have worn them in the snow with just a skirt on top and stayed really warm.

I have a kuddly. I got it with the discount. It is so so warm and I am the sort of person that is always chilly. I did notice it is a bit thinner than the ones I got the kids last xmas so maybe they've opted for cheaper thinner fabrics now?

I don't think you could get away with it for a camera on teams meeting though. It is very bulky and you'd not hide it under a scarf. Good for watching a film on the sofa i nthe evening if you want to leave the heating off or on low.
