Spring cost of living payment entitlement

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody knows wether I'll be entitled to the next cost of living payment in spring. The dates were recently announced. On the 1st feb I received £0 as £47 odd was taken to pay back the original advance we got. Will we still be entitled? Gov website is vague about this. Just wondering if anybody encountered this on the last payments last year and wether they received anything.... really hope so. If I was on SMP and not mat allowance I'd have got more UC

I just found this on the face book universal credit survival group

if your award was zero but money was paid to landlord/advances/deductions you still qualify. If your award was wiped out due to earnings then you wouldn’t qualify for this round of payments.

Thank you. I paid £47 something back for the advance and they usually only take the advance out of your payment after all deductions so hopefully that means will get it then . Thanks :)

Would you have got a payment if they hadn’t taken the £47 out of it though? Or would you still have got zero?

Hi just wondering did you end up receiving the cost of living payment as I am in the same situation now and unsure weather I will receive it or not
