No spend weekend - who is with me?

Nearing the end of the month and its financially tight. I've got the grocery shop coming on Sunday midday and any bills have been allocated for. The car has fuel.

But I must have a "no spend weekend" if possible.

Tonight: Film and homemade popcorn!

Saturday: Swimming lesson (paid for), gardening, maybe a free trip to the museum and then home for homework & maybe baking. Evening: eating everything we baked.

Sunday: Morning walk on the beach with coffee in a flask, home for lunch and then maybe an afternoon at home with board games and a film. Possibly a family walk with Pokemon Go. Evening: Long hot bubble bath

Anyone else with me?

Sound very nice OP. We have roughly £120 left for food until the 31st. No spend weekend is essential.

Argh such heavy rain (that the met office failed to forecast!)

What I really need is some deflatine and it's £5! So I'm just sheltering at home tooting away with a bloated stomach (I only ate some wasabi peas!)

We have no spend weekends all the time. There's so much to see and do and all free. Plus our kids love picnics

What free activities do you do with kids?

@LadyJ2023 I would suggest that's probably a regional thing. We don't have a lot of indoor places to go. And even our ONE tiny museum closes at midday and it isn't open on a Sunday.

We also love picnics when it isn't a rainy weekend 😊
