Universal credit meeting - bringing children?

I have a uc meeting tomorrow in order to confirm my uc claim and I need to know if I am allowed to take my children as I have no childcare support.

I’ve googled it online but there’s nothing to suggest either way, I’ve sent a message to the uc account but they’ve been shut for days and only open at 9 and my meeting is at 9:30, does anyone know!?

Better to go with your children than not go.
Will they sit quietly with book or something?

They can be funny about last minute cancellations as they can mark it down as you refusing to co-opperate.

I had to take mine with me at one time.

The 8yo will be fine, the 6mo most probably asleep. I don’t see I have a choice as I’m certainly not not attending

They can’t stop you bringing the children with you. It won’t be a problem. It’s common to see prams etc in the jobcnetre.
