Just got ours through...£256 (already taken off £66 from the government!) 4 bed detached house. Does that align with most of you?!

OP posts:
Mumski45 · 08/12/2022 12:14

Yes 4 bed detached with minimal heating on in the evening only and we are paying similar.

Overthebow · 08/12/2022 12:18

Yes that’s similar to what ours will be this month for our 4 bed.

ModeWeasel · 08/12/2022 12:19

200 4 bed terrace

Emiliasmummy · 08/12/2022 12:30

235 3 bed end terrace.

Marmite27 · 08/12/2022 12:33

Ours runs 25th to 24th of the month. Oct-Nov was £171.56.

3 bed end terrace with minimal heating on (log burner).

It’ll be much higher this month! Still we pay £222 a month, plus the government £67 and we’re in plenty of credit.

Usernamesarenoteasy · 08/12/2022 13:04

Mine runs 5th Nov to 5th Dec.
After the £67 was taken off my bill was £152. Three bed terrace.

ifonly4 · 08/12/2022 14:42

Ours is a converted bungalow with dormers and extension, so probably a small four bed. Have to admit it's a semi, but property next door empty (and I'm sure it's colder as owner used to have heating on all day). 2/11-2/12 £125 (no discount taken off). We do have ours set at a fairly low temperature compared to some. I've given in and put it back on at 17.5c, will boost up to 18c just before DH has shower.

DelilahBucket · 08/12/2022 14:49

£125 just had although that is for an extra day as I forgot to do the meter reading. £83 for electricity. 5 bed end terrace. These figures don't include the government payment. Gas is 50% higher than last year (we've made a lot of changes to reduce usage) and electricity is 100% higher (we were already fairly low users).

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 08/12/2022 15:21

5 bed detached. £160 after the deduction. Minimal heating, only heat the living room with log burner and central heating a couple of hours a day in the bedroom and en-suite. House too big now kids have gone so most closed up.

BMW6 · 09/12/2022 14:13

December bill for November useage Gas 87 electricity nil (after 66 credit)

2 bed terrace, 2 adults.

AlmostAJillSandwich · 09/12/2022 23:25

70 elec, 10 gas, before the 67 refund. 2 1/2 bed mid terrace, but only thing gas is hob.

Suzie0003 · 10/12/2022 11:13

4 bed detached house, was £150 last month. Looking at alot more this month though

RewildingAmbridge · 10/12/2022 11:17

£252 including the government rebate 3 bed semi. Old house though and open plan downstairs and high ceilings throughout, so difficult to retain heat.
Yesterday heating was on 7-9, we were then out all day at work, nursery etc I came home at 4 and it was 14 degrees inside, by 7:30 having had the heating on full it was still only 17.
Heating has been on today since 7am it's 18 degrees and feels chilly. It's -2 outside

BabyFour2023 · 10/12/2022 11:19

£326 5 bed detached including the deduction.

boys3 · 10/12/2022 11:33

No smart meter but take readings each Saturday morning.

Based on past 4 weeks, just energy incl VAT but not standing charge

Electric : £72.44 vs £67.24 in the preceding 4 wks

Gas: £127.07 vs £47.20 in the preceding 4 wks

Total £199.51 vs £114.44

That said Gas in the last two weeks double that of the previous two weeks with the heating now on a lot more.

4 bed detached, but quite modern (built this century)

Standing charge another £22 for each four week period

dementedpixie · 12/12/2022 19:18

This was our usage for November

Early Nov-early Dec gas & electric bill
Leemoe · 12/12/2022 19:24

27 October to 26 November it was £304 less the £66 refund.
So we actually paid £238.

Five bed victorian semi with big bay windows in four rooms. Thermostat set to 18 degrees both day and night.

Currently paying £13 or so a day in gas with the current bad weather.
