I've just cut my mobile bill by £50!

My contracts ran out in around august but I've not got round to sorting out a new contract/deal. I pay for 3 phones and was paying over £80 a month. I've just put 2 onto sim only deals as no new phones needed and my bill is now down to £30 a month for all 3! Dd's was already sim only. Loads of data, unlimited texts and calls. I'm so happy as I desperately needed to make cuts somewhere. I still can't believe I've cut my bill by so much!

If you haven't already, please check with your provider to see if you can make any changes to cut costs. I'm with EE and have been with them for about 10 years. They've always been very helpful and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Same here. As soon as my 24 mth £18 pm contract with Vodafone was up, I shopped around and put me and DC on Plusnet 7GB unlimited for £6 pcm. Contracts are rolling monthly so can leave at the end of any month should we wish. Will just replace handsets as and when.

We spend a lot of time out in the sticks, some networks (EE!) are hopeless. Now on a Lebara sim, they use the Vodafone network, signal normally great, fiver a month.

I've never had a typical mobile contract.
I buy phones outright and just have a cheap SIM deal.

Thanks to everything who explained about pac code, I might see if I can get cheaper.
