Scottish Power no sign of the £66?

Anyone with Scottish Power who has or hasn’t had a bill credit nor a bank credit for the October instalment? We’ve had nothing yet.

I got mine on the 11th

I got mine this week.
sent a text to me phone to tell me too.

Yes I've just had mine into my bank this week

I haven’t had mine yet but my bill doesnt go
out until 26th so hopefully it will be then

Paid by DD on 1st, got mine on the 11th

I pay on 26th too

We think it came off the bill automatically but what happened to others?

@HairyKitty Surely you won't get yours until after you've made your October payment so it won't be until after the 26th October

@geraniumsandsunshine some companies are reducing the direct debit and crediting it to the energy account. Others are keeping the direct debit the same and returning the £66 to the customer's bank account

Paid DD on the first got ours paid into our bank account on the 11th
Transferred it back into our SP account.
I don't understand why they didn't just reduce our DD.

From Scottish Power website:

We’ll send you your discount as a refund to your bank account following your Direct Debit collection. This may take up to five working days to appear in your bank account. If your Direct Debit value is less than the monthly discount, we’ll refund the value of your Direct Debit to your bank account and provide the remainder of the discount for that month as a credit to your energy account.*

If we’re unable to collect your Direct Debit payment, we’ll apply the full discount to your energy account, so you won’t miss out.*

Please note that if your Direct Debit payment is normally at the end of the month, you may receive your discount at the start of the following month.

So the above info means they don't give you the £66 until your direct debit is due/has been paid

I haven’t had mine

Got mine paid into my bank account on 11th.
My DD went out on 3rd

Me and my parents both pay by DD on the 1st of the month. We both got the £66 into our bank accounts on the 11th

DD set for 1st month (actually paid on 3rd due to weekend this month) credited back on 11th

DD went out on the 3rd. £66 credit back to my account on the 11th.
