In from work. Tired. Hungry. Grumpy. Dominoes pop up on my phone any pizza of any size for £7.99. So tempting. Resisted and had beans on toast and a cup of tea instead. I Saved £30.00 in total as we always have wine with Dominoes but IMO wine does not go with beans on toast. I have put the £30.00 cash in an envelope labelled 'Money I felt I did not waste'. Going to keep stuffing this envelope with cash (I hope).

I’m planning a mega holiday next year (due to family spread around the world not just being extravagant). This is helping me focus on watching the pennies!

Interested to see your comment re Peloton. I’ve started turning mine off after every session and it just take a few minutes to reboot at the start with any new software. You might be able to add this to your ‘turn off’ list!

Two weeks ago, I switched broadband providers from Virgin £47pm to Vodaphone at £24pm - finally. Took me two and half years to make the switch as I felt it would be too much hassle to go through the ordeal I had when I switched previously. Also, cancelled my council gym at £27pm when I wasn't really using it recently.

Used to treat myself to a steak every fortnight; now I can't justify it. Have already cut down on my overall meat consumption and enjoying veg and pulse based meals more.

Next to go is Amazon Prime; the shows are rubbish usually and I don't order from the site that often.

Sorry, cut to the end, having read half.

We Brits love hardship, don't we? This is entirely us; going without, saving, thrift. We're in our element.
Which is why we don't get off our arsed and March on the streets when we see how our lives have become so 1950s.

Cos Brexit/Tory/Putin.

Much of Europe isn't enthusiastically pulling its belt in.

I was born during the rationing years. Seems we have come full circle! 🙄
