Not a new thing but worth looking into if you receive UC or some other benefits.

Helped a friend do this recently. The talk talk through Jobcentre was declined as she currently has broadband which she could no longer afford. Moved onto the BT one. Sending her a free Alexa enabled phone too as chosen the £20 deal. Very easy to do.

Worth having a look even if you are on UC and work. 12 month contract and if you wish to renew they check if still in receipt at the 12 month stage.

I had no idea about this, thanks!

You’re welcome. It’s not very well advertised.

I switched ti this earlier in the year and it’s a brilliant deal for those on certain benefits.

@ChittyChittyBoomBoom thanks for the feed back.

My current package is coming to an end so I’m switching to this at the end of next month. It’s £3 cheaper than a similar deal from virgin, and I’m fed up to the back teeth of virgin and their crappy service anyway so I’m only too glad to be moving.
