How best to repay these credit cards?

My brain is tired!

  1. account has £700 at 37%
  2. account has £700 at 31% and £950 at 0% for 6 months then 31%

I can make payment of £200 monthly. So I pay minimum on account 2 and rest against account 1 until account 1 clear? Then pay account 2 off?

Does that sound correct?!

Martin Lewis talks about snowballing.

Pay the one with the highest interest off with as much as you can and the others make minimum payments.

Then move on to the next when the first is paid off, and so on.

Yes. Clear account 1. Throw every spare penny you have ar it too.
so pay the £200 less your minimum for account 2, and even if you have a spare £5/£10 at the end of the week/cash back/sold something make an additional payment into account number 1.

Is there any chance you can get another card with a zero or low interest rate and transfer the balances? Those interest rates are very high.

Have a look on Moneysaving Expert for offers and also sign up to Credit Karma, which is a free credit file service. Both will recommend offers that you might qualify for, but it's worth an application even if they don't seem to think you'll get it as they're not completely accurate and it will save you quite a bit of interest.
