Hot water: Immersion heater or oil fired Aga?

Hi all with the current energy hikes we are looking at the most cost effective way to heat our water. We currently have our Aga on but would usually turn this off end of March and rely on the immersion heater. Given the current situation I'm not sure what to do for the best. Any advice please? Thank you

Can you afford solar to heat the hot water? That would be my option once the Aga was off, you'll have sufficient sun - we do this.

An oil aga heating the hot water is awfully expensive as it runs all the time. I'd turn it off and use immersion for summer put it on when needed don't let it run all the time.
