For those on 30k household, what’s your disposable income left each month?

I’m a single mum to two under 11 and bring home around 29-30k per year (salary, benefits, child maintenance).

For those is similar circumstances, what are your budgets like? How much do you have left over after all bills, food and petrol have being paid?

That would completely depend on your outgoings. Mortgages and general living costs vary depending on where you live. What do you hope to gain from the thread?

I suppose I just want a rough idea of what’s normal left over but I get that everyone’s situation is different. I roughly aim for £200-£300 a month that I can use on things such as eating out, clothes, days out etc and didn’t know if this was a low or high amount to aim for
