Extra payment from child tax credit

Got my normal payment on Wednesday, woke up Thursday and another payment from them. There was no bank holiday so abit confused.

Can happen this time of year (new financial year) if you were underpaid last year.

Best to log in to your account and check your award.

I’ve had one too , quite often get one end of the tax year .

Does it show on your tax credit award online?
Wondering if I'll get one but can't see anything online?

Yes mine shows as a one off payment .

Just wondering about the govt's extra payment to wtc. I have not received the addition nor the 1.7% on wtc or ctc. Gateway account not showing any changes either for next 8 pymts just wondering if anyone knows what's happening. Can't get through on phone
