Sounds like a great NYE Sea, have fun!

We've had poo dramas here today too. Dd was sitting on the potty but got up and wandered off half way through. I let dh deal with it all before he went to work on the principle that the rest of the day it would be my problem! Ds has been telling anyone who would listen today about the poo on the floor!

I am tired and grumpy now. Not feeling at all in the mood for any festivities tonight.

Good work finding and posting all the links btw.

Happierwithouthim · 31/12/2019 17:33

€80.85 in Dunnes last night.
€120 today on Fitbit versa lite - my attempt to change the strap on old one was a disaster & superglue might not fix it, though I'll try & dd can have it in time if it works.

Free - last visit to swimming pool using gym membership which expires today, think with at pair using it we broke even but for myself & dc alone we didn't get as much value out of it as I thought we would. Will review again next year.

Going to watch fireworks now & meeting dm there.

Em hope you get that rest

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/12/2019 17:42

I echo what the other said. I would be livid at that em.

Takeout ordered £40 eeek. But no good ship this week so it evens out.

Lovemaltesers · 31/12/2019 17:42

I destroyed my last Fitbit trying to change the strap too happier

Ewww em and sea Angry

One of my old school friends popped round today which was nice.

DD1 is not feeling very well and needs to go to bed.

We’ve opened a bottle of Buck’s Fizz which has been in the fridge for 18 months . My first drink of the Christmas holidays. We’ve got M&S Chinese in the open. Partying it up here tonight Grin

Looks like we’ll have a new thread for the New Year. Hopefully we can entice some oldies back and newbies too.

Lovemaltesers · 31/12/2019 17:42

£5.80 in Tesco today

ememem84 · 31/12/2019 17:52

I’ve had a nap. Feel worse for it actually. Will pootle downstairs and see what’s going on.

Dm called me earlier and asked me to try and cheer up because my moping about is dragging everyone down. I pointed out that I wasn’t well, rarely do I feel this crappy that I need to stop and asked her not to put that sort of pressure on me again.

New Years resolutions.

Be more assertive
More mindful eating
Less screen time
Make time for books and self care ?at least half an hour a day)
Exercise regularly
Drink more water

Lovemaltesers · 31/12/2019 18:24

My DP just asked if my friend who came to visit asked to use our WiFi. I said no, but apparently she did and then she was googling before she went home to find the cheapest place to buy her favourite ice cream. However, none of the supermarkets on the way had it on offer so she was going to have to do without. DP was impressed with her frugal skin flint ways!

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/12/2019 18:29

Good ship = food shop.

Wolfcub · 31/12/2019 19:35

Ds can't be arsed to be sociable and is glued to his room so I am watching Agatha Raisins and drinking prosecco. I feel bedtime beckons before it all gets too depressing

I’m liking your resolutions @ememem84, may be stealing them for myself.

I’m tired, full and happy. Watching 90 day fiancé because there’s nothing else on, the boys are on their various devices. I doubt I’ll be seeing midnight but that’s ok.

Happy new year, everyone xxx

LivingInLaputa · 31/12/2019 22:29

Happy new year everyone!

2019 has been pretty crap really but I’m currently pondering the many good things that have happened, things I’m thankful for and things I’ve achieved. Nice way to end the year!

Here’s to 2020 🍾🥂

ememem84 · 31/12/2019 22:51

I politely told Dm to F off. In a “seriously woman?!” Type of way.

Just got back. Both kiddos were still wide awake. But also flagging. Dd in bed. Ds wrestling with dh at present. We all have new tattoos.

These are mine ds did them.

Walked there and back.
