So looking at childcare costs and looks like not worth me returning to work.
Dp is weekly paid which I've heard can affect UC.
We currently get £19 every four weeks TC. With me classed as working.
If we get switched to UC if I don't return. How does it work
. He earns 500 a week. And weekly paid.

Have you been told you need to switch to UC ?

Babyroobs · 23/07/2018 09:37

You not returning to work would not trigger a switch to UC if you are already on tax credits.

Karenoid · 23/07/2018 09:38

You shouldn't need to switch as you're already on tax credits. I believe it would just be a change in circumstances so not a break in your claim and your tax credits should just increase. There's a tax credit calculator on the HMRC website.
