I currently have a virgin sim and pay £5 a month.I only use my phone for texting and the occasional one minute can you ring me back call to dh who can't read texts ( bad eyesight)he doesn't hear the notification as work is noisy.
Texting seems to use all my credit up quickly.I have looked online at other Sims and don't understand them .
Can anyone recommend a sim good for texting and the quick calls to dh?I don't want to pay over £5 thanks

ee do a £1/week payg. you can choose to prioritise data or calls and texts. I got the data bundle which was 10 texts, 10 minutes and 100mb per week. you grt free boosts every 7 weeks which you keep forever so after 3 boosta I get 35 texts & 200mb. youcan choose to prioritise texts and then you grt more.

EE do a £1 weekly Talk and Text bundle for PAYG- giving you 25 minutes and 50 texts per week. If you top up £10, this will last you for 10 weeks Smile the bundle come out of your top up automatically once it has been set up. They can set it all up for you in store.

The cheapest one on Giff Gaff gives you 100MB data, 150 minutes and 500 texts for £5 a month

I have Tesco (O2) and spend about £20 a year on top ups. Chatting done on the real phone.

4p a text, 8p a minute. I think there are EE ones that are cheaper but they don't have coverage where I live.

O2 have a Sim which is 5p a text and 5p a min but if you use data it's 5p per mb so would use your credit quicker... No monthly payment just top up when needed.
