Hi. Everyone. Just read the whole thread. Some really useful tips. Just a couple of things

What's this bubble wrap on the windows.what does that do and how do I put it on?

I have some patio doors where I can feel a draft coming in from the bottom. Is there anything I can do about it or is it a case of replacing/ refitting the doors.

Its just another way to diy window insulation, especially for single glazing. Spray pane with water and bubble wrap holds up to it, it feels warm to touch as well.
Came back here to say I was turned down for the warm home discount, but after calling British Gas it turns out I filled out the form wrong and I will now get it, so if you get a 'no' it worth rechecking with your provider.

Oh well done, it's worth having.
