Trying to a cheap meal plan for the week, does this sound ok?

Saturday - pasta bake
Sunday - homemade soup and bread
Monday - jacket potatoe and beans
Tuesday - chicken and rice
Wednesday - pasta and meat balls
Thursday - basic roast dinner (obviously being xmas day)
Friday - left overs from xmas day
Saturday - rice, carrots onions and gamon steaks (the cheap ones!)

Does this sound fairly cheap to do? Lunches will be a sanwhich, yoghurt and a piece of fruit. Breakfast porridge, toast or weatabix.

Also has anyone got ideas to make a cheap sweet dersert on xmas day?

That all sounds fine to me! Maybe a few more veggies?

How about making mince pies and custard? They will be giving away mincemeat near Xmas.

Thank you that's a good idea :-) I miss the days where I didn't have to think ahead about money or food lol! sigh
