Changing gas and electric suppliers

When I use confused and the martin lewis site when I put my usage in it tells me I spend more on gas than I actually do.

It says I spend £375 on gas in a year but when I add what I actually paid for the last year it was £280.

I am confused! My electric figure was correct.

Any ideas?

It did this to me as well so put my monthly cost in instead. It's only a test program. I think it will be worked on more.

I am wondering if I did the right thing in switching now! According to my figures I only save £2 a month.

Any thoughts?

It's better off in your bank account than theirs.

I have been looking at my past gas prices. This years is supposed to be £375, the previous year 280 and before that £240.

Has gas really gone up that much?!

Do you have the boiler serviced?. Maybe the boilers not as efficient.

No ones put the hot water thermostat up past 60 have they?.
