I've cooked my first leftover chicken curry tonight

I was left with a lot of chicken after my roast yesterday for the curry, I've added it all in, and will have some fir lunch tomorrow.
However I could easily have used the leftover chicken for another meal later in the week.
How long will chicken last if I roasted it on a Sunday?

Thank you!

I would freeze it rather than using it from the fridge later in the week but I have read that it is safe to keep it for a few days but I feel happier batch cooking curries etc.or use it for sandwiches tomorrow.

If you could have made an extra meal you could have made and then frozen it for later on in the week.

I may well freeze any leftover curry there is then.
Thanks ladies.

I've used Sunday roasted chicken on Wednesday evening with no ill effects several times.

I regularly do a roast chicken on a sunday, chicken curry on a monday, chicken and mushroom risotto on a tuesday and chicken soup for weds work lunch. Eaten by me and my two year old daughter with no ill effects.
