February No Spend Day Challenge

I'm pledging 14NSDs this month. I'm abroad for 10 days otherwise I'd aim higher!

Main goal this month is saving for the trip. Ill be meal planning weekly with no top up shops allowed in between. Total grocery budget for the 18 days we will be home is £25 as cupboards are looking healthy. We are having a family cinema day in Saturday (£25 for two 3d movies for 3 people) I also need to advance book the bus to airport so I get discounted rate. (£16) and DD needs guide and swim money.

Should be under £80 spend this month ( excl bills!)

Spent £13 on shopping and £10.50 on mothers day pressies so still on 2/10

3/12 and have packed lunch for tomorrow so a possible one then too but v unlikely I'll stick to it!

2/10 for me. Car is in for a service today, so that will be a (expensive) spend unfortunately. Will aim for another tomorrow.

Hiya everyone. I've managed my 3rd nsd. This thread is really saving me money as i resisted everything when i was in the coop with my sister. Hope everyones doing well. 3/10

3/10 - car still in garage! so no bill today (but wincing at the thought of the bill tomorrow...).

need to get my nsds in early this month, as have dd2's birthday to sort out - need to do party bags , and food/decorations.

I joined half way through Jan, so only managed 7. aim is for 10 this month, but only managed 1 so far. think it will be difficult as forgot about half-term.

5/12 and actually making money as I'm babysitting. we are in dire need of lots of shopping at home though so I think tomorrow will be a spend day although I may be able to squeeze one more day it depends if dp can do without milk or not

yesterday was a spend day as we went out for brunch and I did a top up shop. today will be nsd as I've woken up poorly so me and dd are having a quiet day at home

5/12 today, nearly half way there

Spent a bit on good and house hold necessities on Saturday, but Sunday and today have been no spend days :)
7/10 (really chuffed!) :D

6/12 today as we had friends over to play and for lunch

Managed another nsd as went into town on the bus with our bus passes and went to Hamleys where they had loads of free entertainment. We took our own lunch so boys had a great day and are now tired and in a bath ready for a relaxing night before going back to school tomorrow

Am up to 6/10, and have done all dd2's birthday shopping. Now just need to finish off getting bits for her party...

but pleased to have managed 6 by this point - still more than 2 weeks left to achieve 4 more nsds

Have also just done my 6th NSD so 6/10

We are off to London on Saturday and I think NSDs will suddenly become extremely hard to achieve as its also half term next week. I'll try to have another one tomorrow then will have to have an extremely frugal time the last few days of February. Tuesday may be a possiblity as we'll be home with nothing planned but I have a feeling it won't turn out that way

Had to spend some money on shopping yesterday so still on 7/12.will try today though

Today is heading to be a NSD. Yesterday nearly was but needed bread so spent £1.25. If I manage today then I'll have done 7/10

looks like today will be a nsd, so 7/10 for me.

the weekend is a write-off (dd2's birthday, so bound to spend on something), and next week is half term

still, only just over half way through the month, and not far from my target of 10
