every so often Amazon do discount codes off certain departments (normally home and kitchen and clothing and jewellery) . In September I nearly bought the same model as then, sent a 20% of kitchen & home and it worked out £162.00! I convinced myself I'd regret buying it then as it would be cheaper on BF

I "lost" a SatNav earlier today despite clicking the millisecond it appeared. I joined the waitlist at 500+. Went upstairs to change DS's nappy about 45 minutes later and came down to find it had been in my basket briefly but had then left.

That was bad enough, but it gets worse. I rejoined the waitlist. The deal expired a few hours later so I assumed that was that, especially as it said 100% claimed. At some point this afternoon, about 3-5 hours or so after it was listed (can't remember exactly) I went back to the Amazon window and saw the same thing had happened again. FML. Evidently the waitlist persists even though the item has expired.

So people on waitlists.. just keep waiting and checking your Amazon window.

If you get a waitlist item then does it just go into your basket or do you get notified?

Grrr, DH bought Cars 2 for £10 earlier this week as a xmas present for DD1. I managed to get the BF one into my basket, called him into the room - does he still have the receipt for his one? - of course he bloody doesn't!!

I have had loads of pop ups but they just keep saying this deal has timed out or expired or similar, been watching all day, must not have been lucky yet.

I've worked out the secret to the waitlist too (finally, just before it finishes!) You need to actually "keep shopping" as instructed as the box pops up when the screen refreshes
