Covid vaccination timing for best autumn/ winter protection

I catch Covid every year towards the end of the year and it affects me very badly and I end up bed bound. This year I am going to pay for a private vaccination. I want to try to do this at the best time to try to ensure I don’t get unwell. Can anyone advise the best time to get it? The infection usually happens in Oct or Nov. Would end of August be too early or ok to get vaccinated?

The vaccine doesn’t usually come out until October.

I think you can get it privately any time. September sounds a good time, then it gives you a month to build inmunity
