Just wondering peoples experience of Covid this time. First 4 days I breezed, then came the back pain, yesterday headaches and today the body aches, fever feeling and chills are so bad and I feel awful. Please say there is light at the end of the tunnel? Has everyone had this 7/8 day regression or am I getting worse…. A little scared to be honest

Hi, i got it beginning of dec with all the symptoms you mention plus around 8 days in i lost my sense of taste & smell. I also had a really high heart rate too which didn't help with sleep. By Christmas eve i was feeling nearly back to normal and around end of Dec went back to exercise etc.
That wasn't a good idea as 2 days ago, the symptoms are all coming back and i feel awful. Have awful sinus type issues too. So all i would say is you need to take it easy for a few weeks as i'm going to do now.

Oh god @Gemma5678 sorry you feel unwell again. It’s bloody awful this time around. This is my 10th time of having it but it’s completely floored me…
it’s the foggy head and feeling like I’m boiling on the inside today which is driving me insane. Just having a bath has ruined me

Sorry to hear you feel so rotten.

It is not unusual for people to feel worse in the second week of having Covid, it is part of how our bodies respond to the virus - this is why some people who have been prescribed antivirals think they have had a "rebound" when they stop the antivirals.

There is something of a timeline here: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/progression-of-covid-19-symptoms#symptom-timeline

Solidarity and good wishes xx

If you've got high heart rate, anything that makes you warm will make you feel worse, so a bath or shower will probably make you feel crappier. If you really need one, have it cooler abs try not to rush about - wrap up and drip dry.

So yesterday I made it out of the house for a few hours as I had definitely reached the cabin fever phase. As soon as I was out I wanted to go home! Apparently Covid has made me have agoraphobia 🤣 on the plus side I felt a little stronger than the day before… headache was still awful though

Not sure if I had Covid or some sort of flu. Started to recover then a week in caught a bacterial infection on top (strep type rash). Antibiotics cleared that up.
