Getting antivirals out of the NHS

Does anyone have any experience of getting antivirals for Covid out of the NHS quickly at the weekend? My mum has caught Covid and has probably already given it to my (very poorly anyway) elderly father 🙄 He’s not testing positive yet, and tomorrow is Friday. Everywhere is saying that they can’t do anything until he has a positive test, but nobody is saying what happens if that is after they go home for the weekend!
Last time someone vulnerable in our family was eligible for the drugs, it was at the weekend and it took more than the 5 days and we never got them.
Advice please?

I’ve been given antivirals at local hospital on a weekend via ambulatory care ward so nhs111 should be able to advise access

That’s how it’s supposed to work, but that assumes you can walk in (which my dad can’t). 111 failed to refer properly last time.
