Rebound symptoms or reinfected?

Around 12 days after testing negative Covid symptoms have come back. Could I have caught it again so soon or is this just something that happens sometimes?

It happened to me 20 days after infection and I think it was a different variant as I was feeling worse the second time.

20 days! That is bad luck, I assumed there’d be immunity for a while. Mine feels almost exactly the same, but not quite as bad. More depressing if anything.

My friend had this recently and was told it was ‘COVID rebound’ where symptoms come back after a short period of feeling well. It only lasted a few days for her so hopefully you’ll be much better very soon.

Thank you, that’s reassuring. I probably overextended myself the moment I felt better and had tested negative. I’ll know better next time.

I think I may have got Covid rebound. Day 10 and now testing negative- started to feel more like myself yesterday and back to sleeping all afternoon again today.
How long are people feeling fatigued for?
