The first time I had COVID - I felt better after a day or two just to become off again and it was so weird.
Is COVID still like that.

I have COVID again. I was sick yesterday. My GP prescribed antivirals Paxlovid to me this morning. I didn't take them yet. Now if feels like I am on the mend with a high stubborn fever coming down.

I tested positive today - bad cold since last night. Only tested because I was going to visit my elderly mum. Feels the same as last time so far. Like a bad cold with fever. Loads of DHs colleagues have had it in the last couple of weeks and feel totally drained.

Last time I had it was in October last year. Like a particularly bad cold but longer duration.

You should take the Paxlovid, it won't be effective if you delay it. If you start feeling much worse it'll be too late for it to work!
