I have heard that the new variant does that. Does anyone know in what way?

Where have you heard this, op? I've just had the latest strain all last week and I'm rather depressed now. I totally recognise it as depression and was wondering what's causing it as it's quite bad. Feeling a bit bonkers not in a good way and worried I'm going to lose it at work. Already pissing off do as I'm being irrational and insecure. It's horrible

I have covid and yes for a couple of days I felt unwell mentally I can't explain it but it was similar to what's described as Alice in wonderland syndrome, I have no recollection of some days either andI'm still pretty low and I'm just not myself still unwell though but getting better on my 12th day

I've had covid a few times and it's always affected me mentally along with all the physical stuff. I always get a few days feeling manic, as if my body wants to spread it(!) followed by complete brain fog, which is unusual for me then depression..
