Anything you can do to help get over long covid?

Apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere, but a friend has been suffering from long covid for years to the point where she has a blue badge, has to cancel long awaited events last minute, is bedridden etc

Does anyone have any recommendations of things she ca do to help herself? Going back and forth to the GP doesn't seem to be actually doing anything!

How awful. It took me a long time to recover from Covid and Metatone tonic really helped, I took bottles of the stuff.

I had it for months. Been completely recovered for a year now. I found lots and lots and lots of rest was essential. No pacing, no little bits of exercise, just rest, in bed, as much as possible, until starting to feel better. Then a tiny bit of walking, a bit of yoga, but much much less movement and exercise than was possible, no pushing myself, if I did that I crashed. Avoid stress as much as poss. An app called Curable really really helped me I cannot recommend it enough lots of long covid users have found it valuable.

Taking over the counter anti histamine daily has really helped my brother in law.

The thing that helped me was weirdly catching covid again and REALLY taking my time to recover

Good nutrition, plenty of rest, don't overdo physical or mental activities.

For me it was lots of rest. I really did have to stop trying to do things and go to bed instead.
