How long until you felt back to normal?

Just wondering how long people have symptoms for as im 3 weeks in and still feeling lousy. I am slightly better than at my worse but not massively. Still have a cough, sore throat, headaches, lack of energy.

I have other things going on with my health so not sure if that is what is causing it to drag out so long, or its just the current strain that is sticking around for far too long.

@lousyhealth Can you tell me the breathing exercises? I think that would probably help me.

@DuckyDaffodil I was the one who mentioned breathing exercises if you mean me? There are a lot of different ones, but the basic idea is breathe in, hold, breathe out, hold, repeat for several minutes. I did a course which lasted for four weeks and you gradually extend the length of time you breathe in and out/ hold your breath and the length of the exercise. At the end I was doing it for 30 minutes and each breath/ hold etc was 6 seconds. A good way to start is breathe in for four, hold for four, out for four, hold for four. If that's too difficult, reduce it to a count of two. Try to do this for a few minutes every day. And breathe in and out through your nose, not mouth.
Another really good one is breathe in through one nostril (hold the other shut with a finger), then breathe out through the other (again hold shut), breathe in through the same nostril and out through the other. This one is also good for headaches.
