Just tested positive don’t feel too bad but isolating as it’s the right thing to do -
tested because I work with people and want to do the right thing. I also have anxiety so want advice on whether you would go out on a town street walk late at night with your dog who’s missing his second walk ! Unlikely to meet anyone and it’s outside but some how feel strange ! Reassure me please !’

We all had covid during g the summer holidays and I just took autistic Ds2 for his walks.as normal. Stayed away from people but we didn't go as far as normal as I ached!

I and many other people wouldn’t dream of testing now. So if you consider that, many people around you walking their dogs or doing their usual routine after a few days of illness, could have covid or not. I know what we all went through with covid was fucked up, so your anxiety is understandable in that way, but honestly I think going back to normal ways of relating to illness is better for everyone’s mental health.

I took mine but wore a mask

Dh is positive and taking dog out and we have been isolating indoors purely as I don’t want to be ill over xmas. I had it 2 months agi and it floored me for well over a week Nd 5 dYs just in bed. Dh takes dog early morning late night where he encounters no one and also to get out house for 10 mins himself. People think we are mad for testing but then again when they have found out we have covid don’t want to come near or even have me over and so far im negative , funny as these same people that don’t test and when ill mic and say its a cold and to be hobezt for my dh and ds it has been just a cold this time really

@healthadvice123 everyone will have their opinion but we don’t have to isolate now… that all went quiet so why worry?!

GMsAWinner · 20/12/2023 14:45

If you're well enough, go. You can always take a mask in your pocket and if you realise you won't be able to keep away from someone, put it on.
