Covid symptoms in children

Hi all.

I just wondered if your little ones have had covid recently and if so... what were the symptoms?
My 5 yr old has had typical cold symptoms the last 24 hours. Picked him up from school today and he wasn't himself at all and has gone down hill this evening. No temp but he's physically shivering and has thrown up once this evening. I'll try do a lft tomorrow but I'm not sure of he'll let me do it...

Could be covid ,only way is to test. School age kids can do the test themselves surely, quickly wiggle up the nose ,you don't have to ram it up like in the early days.

Saying that, just keep him at home if he's poorly, covid or not he should be at home recovering.

We've all had it in the last week. Kids had barking cough, tight chest, high temperature and no energy for about 4 days. Then both started vomiting. It hasn't been fun.

Oh really? I didnt realise. I've just sent him to run a marathon.... oops!

Day 1 (light positive test)headache, next day sore throat for a day.
Mild cold like symptoms, appetite loss, lethargy and slight temperature for about 3 days.(strong positive test)
Day 7 now - tested negative now but horrible sounding constant coughing 😐 (says it’s like and itchy throat rather than productive coughing)
