Are these Covid test kits ok still?

I want to take a test but just noticed the NHS testing kits I’ve still got in the cupboard from the days when they were being handed out for free have an expiry date on the box of 25/7/23. ☹️ Does anyone know if they’ll still be reliable to use?

They were given a two to three year expiry on making so a little extra won't make a difference percentage wise. Give it a try - if the control works then should be fine.
If you were having a procedure done at hospital then you would be tested anyway.
