Combined flu and Covid jab?

For some reason I'm on the list for flu and Covid jobs at my drs surgery. I think they still have me down as pregnant or something as I've been offered them the 2 years since I've been pregnant.

Anyway what have peoples experiences been with the combined two at a time jabs this year? Until last year I'd had the two separately and never had symptoms, last year they have me a really horrible fever. I'm debating whether to ask for only Covid this year and just paying for flu elsewhere.

I know loads of people who've had them at the same time & have been fine other than a slightly sore arm (from the flu one).

If you're entitled to a free flu jab you can have that separately at a pharmacy or GP and it will still be free.

I've had them together before. No issues at all. I'm doing the same in a week's time this year.

@user1846385927482658 I'm not technically entitled to it - I don't have a chronic illness of any kind. They've made a mistake somewhere, the only thing on the list I've ever had is pregnancy, and I haven't been pregnant 18m. But tbh it's only £20 so I don't mind paying for that. I'd pay for the Covid one if I could.

@Topseyt123 I had a horrid fever last year after getting the two together which is why I was asking. I don't want it to ruin my weekend.

I had both together
Arms a bit sore and overnight I was sweaty/hot/headache but felt fine the next day

I’ve had one in each arm, I had absolutely no side effect

I only know my parents who have had it this year (71 & 68) - they both had no side effects.

They were a little concerned as were looking after my DN for the weekend after but turned out fine. I agree feeling ropey afterwards is unfortunately a risk you take though so personally would try and schedule when I knew I could have an easy day.

I have them both together as I'm diabetic. It's fine.

I was fine. The usual sore arm and slightly more tired than usual.

I get them both every year at the same time.
