I've had covid 3 or 4 times now. Last time was nearly 2 weeks ago but this morning I have a pain in my chest, a cough and achy.

It seem s to be m every time I have covid and then a couple of weeks later I'm ill again with flu like symptoms for only for a day or 2. Does this happen to anyone else?

At a guess. it means that despite a period of feeling better, your body needs more time to clear each initial infection. There is evidence that it can hang around in the body for quite a while - virus levels usually peak up to a week after infection then drop, but this drop can be slow in some people, some may still be testing positive several weeks down the line, even though they are unlikely to be infectious after 10-14 days

Persistent virus isn't the same as long covid.

There's still a lot we don't fully understand about this virus

Agree with above. Give yourself as much time/rest and good nutrition as you can. I'm a week in and feeling better but it knocked me off my perch for 3 months last time so I am very cautious.

Keep resting. Take as much time to just rest and recover as you can.
Pushing through this stage can lead to debilitating long Covid

Ah, I'm having exactly the same experience: got over Covid 2 weeks ago, felt OK, but for the past 3 days have been wheezing, coughing, feeling very tired. My assumption is that I should have taken more time to convalesce and so I'm trying to take it easier now. Hope your symptoms ease up soon.

It's rebound covid. It's occurring more with the current strains and also most people are Infectious again when they get it.

Can you go back to bed and let someone else look after you and any DC? You sound like you need more rest.

Same here with the thinking you're better then developing a cough

Thanks I am feeling worst, though think lack of sleep isn't helping as was awake with chills and sweats last nights! Chest feels tight with a pain in the back and now struggling to swallow tablets as it's making me gag!

I work in a school so have been in today but debating calling 111 or going to local walk in centre
