Baby really struggling with covid

My 8 month old is really struggling with covid, the rest of us had it seemingly mild, no cough or congestion mainly just fever, aches and gastrointestinal symptoms. My baby on the other hand has a fever, a cough, is really congested, off his food, crying a lot. I'm worried about him as I thought kids generally had it milder?

Poor love. I would call your GP or 111 for advice if you are worried.

It’s a total myth that babies/children don’t get it so badly, some can be very poorly with it. Hope he is better soon.

Agree it’s worth getting some advice. DD was only two months old when DP passed it on to us both - I was very cross with him. We alternated Nurofen and Calpol, and used Snufflebabe drops.
