Tight chest after walk - covid recovery during pregnancy

Hi all,

I'm a bit concerned, I'm currently 6 months pregnant and tested positive for covid last week. Midwife did not advise blood thinners etc as low-risk. My main concern is my chest has been feeling tight after brief walks (15-20 mins) is this something to be concerned about or is it to be expected due to all the coughing I've been doing?

I'd speak to your midwife or GP. I had breathlessness and sharp pain during any mild incline on a couple of weeks following covid, was fine where no inclines. I carried on. A collapse and long covid kicked off following that. If your chest is feeling tight, do less, do not push through with anything covid related. I'm not saying that's what is going on with you, but please don't take the chance. There are so many who are really screwed because we pushed through. Do less than you think you can, just as a precaution. Hope all gets sorted for you.
