Asthma and covid - should I speak to someone about this?

Sorry if this is garbled, but if you asthma, when you had covid, did you just take puffers etc as normal.

My o2 has dropped a little, but am still using
Atrovent
Symbicort
and just started taking singular again.

I get asthma type symptoms with viruses, and so I knew something was coming.

I've had pneumonia before a couple times, not since using puffers

My chest now hurts, probably just from coughing middle is really tight.

How did your go?

I'm asthmatic and I've had covid twice. Both times my breathing was not affected till after I tested negative, when I developed a cough and felt breathless a lot of the time. To the point where I was struggling with normal activities, had sick days from work etc.

I saw the gp and was prescribed montelukast, after I started taking it my lungs were back to normal within a few weeks.

Thanks @PinkFluffyUnicornsDancingOnRainbows - already take montelukast/singulair , so was hoping that would be enough.

Unfortunately I am at the hospital now, being checked for pneumonia and perhaps a blood clot. I thought I was fussing, but they're fussing too, so I guess I'm in the right place.

Did you get any long lasting tiredness, or are you back to fine now?

Sorry to hear you are so ill but you are in the right place now and I hope you get better soon.

The tiredness lasted a few weeks and then I was back to normal (although I have small kids so my normal is already pretty tired!).

I hope you got some sleep and feel better this morning.

Thanks. I feel so rough, but none of the scary things they were worried about.

I want to whine, I want a hug, I feel SO pathetic Hmm I've been really ill in the past but this is a whole new of crap.

I think I've got man flu..

It's a horrible virus this one. Glad your tests are clear and hope you feel better soon.
