That's doing the rounds?? I've got it and feel awful, started off with gunky bad sore throat, feel achy, out of sorts , my mum is very poorly with it it's gone to her chest. Just spent a fortune at the health food store on manuka honey and stuff. The guy in there who is very knowledgeable recommended chopped garlic in cling film overnight on your feet, has anyone actually tried this??? Maybe we should all try it and report back here if it's helped 😂... Aparently it helps kill the infection? Now I have heard of this before can't remember where but never tried it as I can't stand garlic but my mum is giving it a go. Can't do any harm
Sending hugs to all who are unwell with this and/COVID

Yes.

Feels like when I had covid but tests are negative.

I’ve been SO unwell.

I was told sliced onions in your socks over night, not garlic! My husband tried this, it didn’t work. He ended up with a chest infection and antibiotics, and the bedroom stank for days. I bloody hate onions too!

Garlic and onions are great on pizza. Not in my socks.

Pickledprune · 29/12/2022 17:49

Sending love and hugs it's horrible
Have you tried some Manuka honey. Don't get the stuff in Tesco's get it from health food shop, the proper good stuff. When my husband went today for me they had a much better quality stuff in but similar prices. Ive had some in some black tea and it really does soothe your throat etc. It's very sweet but I believe it does help.

I've heard if you unpeel an onion and leave it next to the bed it gets rid of toxins and bugs in the air never tried it though
