3 days on average for Omicron, 5 for other variants.

Hope you’ve dodged it though. It’s possible you had it really mildly and gave it it them, for example.

@SheWoreYellow thanks
Just a waiting game
My dh had it sept and I never caught it then , can't see myself being so lucky this time .
Both my ds have had coughs and colds last couple weeks ( tested couple times and negative) so thought i had dodged them and now this.
My luck is I will get it and all plans ruined.
Person who has it a few in their friendship group all seem to of tested positive today/ yesterday so don't think i gave it to them .
Just have to wait it out and see I guess

I've known it to be ten days

That was why the isolation period was ten days, it can be that long. My numbers were just averages.

@SheWoreYellow I think 10 days is more unusual now with current varuants though not possible
Friend who has it seems to of tested positive same day as others in the grouo who were all out on the sat, could be a coincidence but also fits in with some timelines of 3/4 days

DD tested positive on a Friday and I tested positive the following Tuesday, so 5 days.
