I was triple jabbed in 2021 and now on my third time testing positive since March 2022. I feel so much worse this time round and currently cannot sleep.

Me. First time, but I feel like a fraud. I'm hardly ill. Blush

Costadelot · 05/12/2022 00:36

My gorgeous best friend she is immune deficient and is very, very ill. So please everyone wish her well. Even though she isn't religious it can't do harm to pray for her.

I'm felt like that in March, my cough was bad but I didn't fill "ill". I have never felt as I'll as I do at this moment. Also tmi, I now know when I have the covid cough, because my pelvic floor totally gives up 😭

I’m vaxed and boosted and tested positive today. I feel like crap, but I’m managing.

It’s apart of our lives forever if that’s any consolation.

Ineedcoffee2021 · 05/12/2022 00:40

Never had it
Unjabbed, was working retail until feb this year when i lost my job due to vaccine mandates
Have lived in 2 states of Aus, kid in school, going out as normal, no masks, doing nothing to prevent catching it. We are at busy theme parks on the gold coast every few weeks too

I'm sorry you lost your job, no one should be made to have the vaccine.

Me. First time and has been nasty for two days, then ok. I spent weeks in the Covid ward with my dad this summer after he caught it in hospital for something else. I thought I was clearly immune. He died partly he was so tired after it. My mother is now in hospital and has caught it there. I caught it there too.

KnickerlessParsons · 05/12/2022 00:48

In still haven't had it 🤞🏼

Thank you
Its been a shit show in Aus really

I take comfort in the fact, the company that fired me is struggling to get workers due to the mandates. Rumour is they fired thousands of us across all levels of the company, inc 3rd party companies and suppliers

My auntie died of covid last month she refused a vaccination so my cousin is in bits. Sad but also very angry. My aunt had believed all the weird antivax bullshit. Sadly she realised it was all propoganda but too late:(

I have it and can’t sleep. Felt awful on Thursday and Friday and now just feel very tired with a cough and cold like symptoms. Can’t sleep though despite feeling so tired.

sophieable · 05/12/2022 01:58

I've had it, twice.. I have long covid from when I first caught it in August 2021, I still from then don't have my taste and smell back. Its awful and a big suicide thing at the moment and I can see why... also I can't control my temperature! I'm either sweating buckets or absolutely freezing (never had this before covid) but people have commented on my sweating which makes me feel anxious 😟

tobee · 05/12/2022 02:09

We've all had it in the last 2 weeks. 4 adults at home. All tested faint negative from early to mid last week except Dh who is immunocompromised. He still had a positive on Friday after testing positive 2 Fridays ago. It was weaker line though. Hoping he tests negative very soon.

None of us has been very unwell. Dh was positive first. He's had 5 jabs.

I can't really sleep at night either - just fall asleep randomly in the day.

We've all just had it for a second time this year. Ds (12) started having breathing difficulties last week and we had to get an ambulance, he was in hospital for 4 days. Home now, a lot brighter, but still weak. Hopefully back to school on Wednesday.
Fucking hate Covid

Welshgirl10 · 05/12/2022 08:49

I've had it for the past 10 days and finally testing negative now. Never felt so ill- shivers, nausea, foggy brain, aches and pains! No sense of taste and smell still and just generally exhausted now by the little things

foxandbee · 05/12/2022 08:50

My DH has it for the first time. Quadruple jabbed so hopefully he will be ok. He is rough at the moment and I am a bit worried (he is disabled due to a rare neurological condition so covid does not help!).

AllBellyandBoobs · 05/12/2022 12:45

I have it, second time. Children positive last week, dh tested positive on Friday. I started with low level symptoms on Friday but only tested positive today. Hoping it goes away quite quickly but a bit nervous as I was really quite poorly first time I had it.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 05/12/2022 21:59

Me. Got it I think last Thursday but could’ve been dormant before then. Was out but person I was with tested negative. I did get on a bus and go to supermarkets though.

IncessantNameChanger · 05/12/2022 22:01

Son has a cough, been ill for two weeks but the cough I getting worse. Negative lft but 50% of his year has covid. I had a sleep this evening and couldn't smell dinner being cooked so I'm wondering if it is covid

TheChosenTwo · 05/12/2022 22:05

No one here at the moment although I have a very sore throat which started last night and have started coughing a couple of hours ago.
Me and the 3dc had it back in January/February- dh has never knowingly had it.
fingers crossed we don’t all get it again just before Christmas 🤦🏽‍♀️

BeBopaLula75 · 06/12/2022 16:53

I've got it. First time, double vaccinated. I am feeling so unwell, every bit of me hurts and it's been years and years since I was so ill.
