Feeling rubbish after jab - how long does it last?

Had my 4th covid jab today. No issues after the first three, and had a mild case of covid early in the year.

I felt fine all day, but tonight it has hit me really suddenly. I am absolutely freezing (layers and layers of clothes and blankets having no impact), shivering and aching.

I’m meant to be taking the children out to a (expensive, non-refundable ☹️) Christmas event tomorrow. Is there any hope the I’ll feel normal by morning?

So annoyed, I’ve budgeted so carefully for a nice day out for then and it could be a complete waste.

Top tips for beating the horrendous chills also appreciated.

You should be fine tomorrow.

Thanks @Lurkerlot that’s reassuring. I’d hate to have to cancel something the DC are looking forward to.

It's in your system as a dead vaccine for 48 hours maximum.

I felt terrible for 36 hours then completely back to normal. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you both. Feeling rather delicate this morning but at least the extreme chills have stopped.
