Length of infection?

On day 2 - feel like death! Dcs are on day 2 and 5 and are bouncing around the house! How long should I expect to feel like this for? Can anyone give me some hope? Am 4x vaxxed.

Everybody is different my friend felt better each day past about day four. I am still unwell on day forty four.

Felt awful for days 1, 2 and 3 - fever and sore throat and started improving from day 4. By day 6 I decided I didn't need to take paracetamol or ibuprofen any longer. My dw was similar and my colleague who I caught it from was too.
It was bloody awful. I really hope you feel better soon.

Day 5 was worse it took 8 days until I felt ok to work. Have long covid so now on month 10

I'm currently on day 3. Felt like shit yesterday and worse today - whole body aches, sore head and stuffy. Three DC are ok and DP is 2 days infront of me and seems to be alot better. I had it last June and its not anywhere near as bad but I was 7 months preg at the time.

Thanks all - so weird how it impacts everyone so differently. Hoping I'm in the 'feeling better on day 4' camp. Sympathies to those suffering for extensive periods. Nasty nasty virus.

Six weeks now, negative for four, having bloods, ecg, chest X-ray, etc. Looking at Long Covid if it goes past 12weeks.

Yes 12 weeks is the time my GP told me to wait too
