How infectious on day 11 with positive test???

Hi - day 11 and still testing positive. The cold/coughing type symptoms ended about day 8-9 (though a bit short of breath on deep intake / doing too much). Sense of smell back but taste slow in returning. Very fatigues.
But am I still infectious?? DH thinks fine to come out of isolation now and actually I know the rules - well the vague guidelines - say after 5 days can return to work/school. I don't work currently as carer for dc, (dh doing a lot of that at mo) but be great to be free again and not worry if going pass on to family.

Thoughts? Experiences?

It's impossible to give a definitive answer, however from everything I've read and from experience I think it's highly unlikely you would still be infectious now at day 11. You can continue to test positive for sometime after you are no longer infectious due to viral shedding ( I think that's the correct term ).
Personally I would end isolation now.

Thanks.
I have to have regular blood tests to monitor something and was due it last week; GP said ok leave a week but of course I am still positive and not sure if should attend so have contacted our GP practice via their 'form' to ask if can still attend blood test app. It be interesting to see what they say. I am sure if still very infectious they would say no - but I am sure they wouldn't want to see me face to face if I had an appointment directly with them!

It came up positive really quickly again like near the beginning. I had had a few days when at least the control line went red before the covid positive one, but today it was covid positive well before the reagent had reached the control line 🙄

Just thought I'd update in case useful to anyone - that GP said that I am not likely to be infectious after 7 days (don't know how much this based on facts but I am going a long with it). So I was told fine to get my blood test yesterday.

But I tested again today and still big bold positive!! argh...psychologically will feel better when negative again.
