Sore throat after covid recovery

Tested positive for covid 11 days ago and tested negative again after five days. After about 3 days I was feeling ok apart from tiredness, bit of shortness of breath and occasional cough. However, since yesterday I have had a really sore throat again - but more like my voice has been used too much - thought it might have been due to going out and having to talk quite loudly but it has lingered today as well.

Has anyone else experienced something similar after they thought they were better after covid?

Yes! I tested positive last Wednesday and was getting better but have woken up today with a really sore throat. I did a quick Google and I don't think it's uncommon.

I ended up with a horrific throat infection about three or four weeks after having covid. It was worse than Covid itself. I'm normally very healthy and if I've colds flus etc I always fight them off no bother myself with a bit of rest and self care but this knocked me and I had to go to the gp and ended up on antibiotics.
