Rash/Hives after vaccine

Has anyone experienced I guess what you’d called hives after having their covid vaccine?

I’ve just had my 4th jab, I had 2 initial AstraZeneca jabs then Pfizer during the initial vaccination programme and Pfizer again 3 hours ago for my autumn booster. I’ve just come out in an itchy red rash/large blotches of raised hives all over my body, I haven’t experienced this before after a vaccine.

I can breathe fine, airways/lips/mouth aren’t swelling so I’ve just taken an antihistamine to see if that helps.

Yes I had this after my first vaccine, AZ. It was red and sore where the vaccine was administered and got bigger and bigger over the following few days. GP said it was a reaction to the vaccine.

My daughter had this about 10 days after her moderna booster. She ended up in the emergency room because it wasn't clearing up with normal antihistamines they had to give her a shot of steroids and it still took 3 days to clear up. But it didn't affect her breathing.

I've been getting them on and off since I had covid the first time last year

Thank you, glad to know it’s not just me that’s reacted this way. I never had this reaction with the first Pfizer vaccine I had. The hives went away after about 16 hours but they came back last night when I was warm wrapped in a blanket, they all appeared again so warmth is triggering them off after the initial reaction. They are literally everywhere, I watched them spread down my body Sunday night.
