Booster confusion

I'm a bit confused by the booster roll out status. I received an email /text telling me I was eligible for an autumn booster and to make an appt through the NHS site but going through the questions asked on the site I don't actually meet the eligibility criteria (not CV /living with a CV individual /a carer etc). I am 59 with mild asthma but no other health issues. I am happy to have the booster but not really happy to lie about my need for it to get an appointment . Has any one else experienced this? Will I be called forward later in the year if I ignore this invite?
Tx if any one can help

Is the Pfizer one also tweaked for covid?
I am CEV and just got my invite today, but first date it is offering is last week in October! Doubt any Moderna left by then. But would quite like a booster that is good for omicron variant. Can’t have AZ as under 40.

I’ve had the opposite. CEV; asked to shield for months and months during lockdowns; had the spring booster (which very few people were eligible for); but no sign of any text or email inviting me for the autumn one. My dear mum is 75 and I usually get called before her!

Anyway my asthma nurse phoned me a couple of days ago and I said I hadn’t received an invite, so she said to go online and book anyway. However on the online form I had to tick the box to say I’m a carer! I am a carer - DS1 has multiple complex disabilities - but the form seemed more geared to booking in carers than those who are CEV. Baffling. I had the jab yesterday and nobody asked for a letter. I had a huge bag of medication with me as proof though, in case it was asked for!!

The media are not helping by sending a message that all those eligible should come forward for flu and cv vaccines. Unfortunately the vaccination programme does not support the practicalities of following the message.

DH had his this morning, they were only doing appointments, no drop ins. He had the new Moderna, but was told he’s best getting whatever is offered.

Have also had this (I'm in the underlying conditions group (Group 6, not sure if it's still called that) but not actually CEV). I rang 119 and they said that there are text messages being sent out incorrectly.

I’m CEV and booked my appointment online, even so I still had to produce a letter from my consultant yesterday detailing my diagnosis and treatment before they would vaccinate as they said they’re really tough on who at the moment can book. and apparently yesterday over 50’s weren’t allowed to even though I gather online it says you can 🤔there were many disgruntled people outside the venue.

Likewise. If you are under 50 they will ask for evidence of the reason why you have booked. I had to produce a consultant's letter and an empty medicine box
