I'm unclear of what to do, it's my first time to.

No you don’t

notdaddycool · 25/09/2022 09:28

You don’t, I did, helps them see it’s still here. They aren’t enforcing anything so you’re not going to be fined if you leave the home or anything.

PieonaBarm · 25/09/2022 09:33

I would so that it's recorded on your medical records. I've had a major health problem that's since been linked to Covid (not here to scare you most people are fine and I have recovered) and if it wasn't on my records they wouldn't necessarily have linked it.

@PieonaBarm
thanks so much for this info. I have just reported my test. I did not realise this was still possible.
info for OP and others. If you log onto the nhs webpage it allows you to log your results, however needs to be one of the NHS free tests because they ask for the QR code. Also check that they are still in date.
The questions on why I tested were irrelevant, so I picked ‘other’. I tested because I had symptoms and was going to visit a relative.

Hotandbothereds · 25/09/2022 10:39

No, I didn’t even think you could report it anywhere now?

Where did you report it @MermaidMeemaw?

MermaidMeemaw · 25/09/2022 10:48

@Hotandbothereds
I’m not too good at linking webpages. I googled how to log a positive test result. This took me to the NHS webpage. I had to log in, but I had set this up previously. Then it asks you a few questions. You have to enter the QR code of your test and also your NHS number.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask anything else. My head is a bit fuzzy though.

MermaidMeemaw · 25/09/2022 10:51

Sorry I think it is Gov.com and then you go to ‘report result’.

MermaidMeemaw · 25/09/2022 10:53

Same place you've always been able too. On the government website - there is a section for covid results.

I reported mine. I think its useful data to give. I didn't think about post covid complications but thats also a very good point.

Sorry, got my sites mixed up - as Mermaid said it’s the government website - I’ll get my post removed.
